According to a study published in the July issue of Psychological Bulletin, overweight children are stigmatized by their peers as early as age 3 and even face bias from their parents and teachers, giving them a quality of life comparable to people with cancer.

Those are bold words. We decided to prove the veracity of the study. We've asked two kids, one obese and one undergoing chemotherapy, to compare their experiences. Who will win?

# 1. Most Painful Moment

Craig: "When I was picked last for gym class."

 

Steve: "After chemo, when I vomited up bile for nearly three hours."

 

# 2. When Did You Feel Left Out?

 

 

 

Craig: "My entire class had a pool party and I wasn't invited. I stayed at home and read comic books."

 

Steve: "I missed summer vacation when my lungs collapsed and I had to spend July through August in the ICU."

 

 

 

# 3. Future Plans:

 

 

Craig: "I plan on going to a comic book convention."
